Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of swissrail.net and the train ticket booking services provided by Swiss Rail Tickets, operated by WISE UP LIMITED. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Our Role
Swiss Rail Tickets is an independent train-ticket booking and support service for international travelers. We help users search routes, submit ticket orders, process payments, deliver booking information, and provide customer support. We are not the railway operator, station operator, or official government transport authority.
Account and Booking Information
You must provide accurate, complete, and lawful information when using our website or placing an order. You are responsible for checking passenger names, contact details, route, travel date, train time, seat class, and all other booking information before payment.
Prices, Fees, and Availability
- Prices, exchange rates, taxes, payment fees, and service fees may change before payment is completed.
- Ticket availability is not guaranteed until the ticket is successfully issued.
- Displayed prices may include service fees for booking support, payment handling, technology, customer service, and after-sales assistance.
- If a fare is no longer available after payment, we may offer alternatives or process a refund according to the actual order status.
Payment
You authorize us and our payment providers to process the amount shown at checkout. Your order may not be submitted or issued until payment is confirmed. Payment verification, fraud checks, currency conversion, and card issuer processing may affect the final payment status.
Ticket Delivery
Tickets are generally delivered by email or made available through the order page. You are responsible for providing a valid email address and checking your inbox, spam folder, and order status before travel. If you do not receive your ticket, contact us promptly before departure.
Refunds and Changes
Refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling are governed by the operator fare rules and our published Ticketing, Refund and Rescheduling Rules. Some tickets are non-refundable or non-changeable. Service fees may be non-refundable once work has been performed.
Passenger Responsibilities
- Arrive at the station early enough to board your train.
- Carry valid passports, visas, identity documents, discount cards, or rail passes where required.
- Check local station notices, platform information, and operator instructions.
- Use tickets only according to the applicable fare and passenger conditions.
Website Use
You may not misuse the website, interfere with its security, scrape data at scale, attempt unauthorized access, submit false information, or use the service for illegal purposes. We may restrict access or refuse orders where misuse, fraud, duplicate orders, or policy violations are suspected.
Third-Party Services
Our website may rely on railway operators, ticketing suppliers, payment processors, analytics tools, email providers, hosting providers, and other third-party services. Their own terms and policies may also apply to parts of your booking or payment experience.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swiss Rail Tickets is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by operator delays, cancellations, strikes, weather, force majeure, passenger errors, invalid documents, missed trains, third-party systems, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Service Changes
We may update website features, prices, content, route availability, service terms, and operating procedures from time to time. Continued use of the website after updates means you accept the latest terms.
